- took truck for test drive and did not hear any grinding noise, racked truck and performed inspection before customer requested repairs were made. The LF cv axle is not splined into the diff and is out a couple inches and could have caused damage to the differential, it's leaking and the oil has a metal color and axle seal when removed was covered in fine metal shavings.. the rear differential oil is silver in color like it's full of fine metal. front brakes are due at 3mm .the front tires are bad and a alignment is needed. the right front inner tie rod is bad.
- found pass front inner tie rod has play, front tires are wearing weird and would rec alignment after repairs are made
