    • Pulled vehicle into service bay for customer concern of check engine and vehicle not starting/ running bad after getting gas. With vehicle in service bay scanned for codes and found one code P0496 Evap emissions system flow during non purge indicating purge solenoid has gone bad. Removed connector and evap hose from purge solenoid then started vehicle found vacuum at the purge solenoid at all times confirming it has failed recommend replacement of purge solenoid and retest.

    • DISC ROTOR – Remove & Replace – Front, Both – [Includes: Repack Wheel Bearings (where applicable) and replace Pads (if necessary). DOES NOT include refinishing.]

    • took vehicle on test drive confirmed rattle noise, brought back to shop lifted on rack had help hold at 2k roughly rpms to get to duplicate noise, found exhaust bracket has cracked that held the 2 pipes together unbolted bracket and rattle is now gone

    • ran and test drove vehicle, confirm lack of power, with vehicle in service bay, scan for codes, has one code for 2nd air for incorrect flow, removed O2 sensor and back pressure tested, has close to 10 PSI of back pressure when vehicle is rev up, removed rear O2 sensor and checked pressure, same results, should be close to 0PSI inspected Exhaust system, confirm front cat looks to been replaced, 2nd cat plug,(Rear Cat after rear O2 sensor) Recommend 2nd cat
    • ran and test drove vehicle, confirm Coolant temperature gauge not working as design, with scan tool perform gauge sweep, needle goes way pass hot mark, stepper motor not working as design Recommend cluster stepper motors,
    • ran and test drove vehicle, unable to duplicate problem at this time, found after driving with 4X4 and switch to 2X4 the front actuator on Diff sticking at times, checked fluid level and condition, found transfer case low on fluid, condition of fluid is normal, see no unusual problem at this time, Recommend top off fluid,

Duplicated customer concern when going over any potholes or big cracks. with vehicle back in service bay raised and shook down front end of vehicle found idler arm and pitman arm ball joint to have excessive play recommend replacement and re drive.

    • check engine light on , code scan performed and got a p0796 pressure control solenoid valve 3 stuck off.. check transmission oil level and condition and the oil is burnt .. no forward or reverse,, a transmission is needed
    • REMOVED DRIVE SHAFTS, REMOVED T-CASE, DROPPED TRANSMISSION, INSTALLED NEW TRANSMISSION IN REV ORDER, TORQUED ALL FASTENER TO SPEC, PROGRAMMED NEW TRANSMISSION ASSY. FILLED TRANSMISSION, LET RUN IN BAY SHIFTING THROUGH GEARS, TOPPED OFF TRANSMISSION TOOK FOR TEST DRIVE, INSPECTED FOR LEAKS, NONE FOUND AT THIS TIME. WILL BE DUE FOR FRONT BRAKES IN NEXT COUPLE OIL CHANGES MEASURE AT ABOUT 3MM

Pulled vehicle back into service bay to see if the amp could be replaced with the stock unit found the wiring has been spliced and could not be connected to a factory amp recommend vehicle is taken to an audio shop.
