Confirm customer complaint. Evacuate AC system and found has 0.2 lbs of refrigerant. Vacuum system and passed leak test. Charge with 1.25 lbs of refrigerant. AC system blows cold. All OK at this time.
Remove door panel and found aftermarket installed door lock actuator gripping mechanism has slipped into improper placement and is jamming door locks. Loosen and place correctly and retighten. Door locks now function as intended.

with vehicle in service bay, confirm light on, scan for codes, has one code in Drive train control module, C14A7-97: PTU motor – component or system operation obstructed or blocked, tried to shift to 4WD low, wont shift to 4 low, can hear motor working, cleared codes and rechecked, codes hasn't return at this time, inspected wires, no problem with wires, unable to check fluid will need to tear down to check fluid, internal problem with PTU REcommend PTU

with vehicle in service bay, tested Remote start, tried to start, crank for less then a sec, checked for codes, no codes related to remote start, checked remote event, mostly abort events, checked and tested battery, battery at 11.97 volts, 344 CCA out of 700, heath 24%, charge at 0% printed out results, Recommend start with battery and recheck
pulled vehicle into shop heard grinding noise from brakes when applied , inspected brakes found right rear metal on metal with other pads in rear being very close , front are 5-6mm consistent recommend rear pads and rotors

with vehicle in service bay, inspected fuel tank system, inspected Filler neck, removed filler neck and inspected, has a undated filler neck, adjusted filler neck, tried to fill, wont fill, removed EVAP vent switch, wont fill, removed EVAP line to canister, no change, inspected fuel tank, found breather nibble was repair at one point, removed line and inspected breather, found filled with glue use to repair breather, drilled out glue and recheck, fuel tank now filling with no problem, if breather on fuel tank is part of fuel tank, if brake tank will need to be replace, every thing working as design at this time
ran and test drove vehicle, steering wheel off, vehicle has play in steering, on hard braking only got to shake once, with vehicle in service bay, inspected front end of vehicle, found drag link and track arm have play, lifted vehicle and check ball joint, slight up down play with in norm, inspected brake, rear look to been replaced, front look older, nothing unusual found on brakes, Recommend Drag link and Track arm, After repairs recheck, steering feel better, has tire vibration at highway speed, tie feel worn but found no play in them, no other problem found at this time,

with vehicle in service bay, confirm check engine light and reduce power light, scan for codes, has EVAP performance code and Vacuum codes, check fuel trim, has 15%, lean running, inspected engine while running, can hear vacuum leak, found vacuum line from line to purge valve, found line was not on all the way, reconnected line, hear clicked in, cleared codes and reset fuel trims, ran and test drove vehicle, no problem at this time IF LIGHTS COME BACK ON CUSTOMER WILL NEED TO COME BACK.

with vehicle in service bay, block tested vehicle, passing at this time, added water to cooling system and pressure tested, found coolant leak from water pump, found radiator cap gasket worn, Recommend water pump and radiator cap to start with and reblock test,
due to coolant leak unable to test A/C for too long, recommend repair Coolant leak before cont' diag, after repair tested HVAC system, nothing unsusual found at this time, radiator fan may have been at 100% with the low coolant, no problem at this time
REMOVED OLD WATER PUMP, INSTALLED NEW WATER PUMP AND FOUND NEW PUMP IS MISSING WATER OUTLET FOR HEATER HOSE AND IS JUST BLOCKED OFF WITH A PLUG, CALLED VENDOR AND WAS TOLD TO WARRANTY OUT WATER PUMP.
water pump was replaced and the noise that the customer was hearing while the a/c was running was a worn water pump
